MyRox ("we", "us", "our") operates the website www.myrox.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

Name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Fitness and Health Data

Training goals, experience level, running level, gender, fitness background, gym type, training schedule, race targets, and race division. This data is provided by you during onboarding and in your profile settings.

Usage Data

Workout completion status, plan history, engagement metrics, and interaction with the Service. We also collect device type, browser, IP address, and approximate location (country/region) for analytics and service improvement.

Communication Data

If you opt into WhatsApp delivery, we store your phone number and message history. If you contact us via email, we retain those communications.

Payment Data

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We receive your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and billing history from Stripe.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Generate training plans — your fitness data is sent to our AI model (Claude by Anthropic) to create personalized training recommendations.
  • Deliver your plans — via the web dashboard, email, and/or WhatsApp based on your preferences.
  • Process payments — manage your subscription and billing through Stripe.
  • Improve the Service — analyze usage patterns and feedback to enhance plan quality and user experience.
  • Communicate with you — send transactional emails (verification, plan delivery, reminders) and occasional product updates.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party services, solely as needed to operate the Service:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — fitness profile data for generating training plans. Anthropic's API does not use your data for training their models.
  • Stripe — email and subscription data for payment processing.
  • Twilio — phone number and messages for WhatsApp delivery (if opted in).
  • Resend — email address for transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel — hosting and analytics.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and secure third-party integrations. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — update or correct inaccurate data via your Settings page.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data.
  • Portability — request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Opt out — unsubscribe from marketing emails or disable WhatsApp delivery at any time.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens) and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in Canada and the United States (where our hosting and third-party services are located). By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
